From box to first output, in four steps
The same guide that ships in the box. Nothing here needs a software licence, a programming cable or a site visit — a browser and a screwdriver do it.

Put together and power up JasperMate

- 01Slide the I/O cards onto the base unit, ensuring the I/O contacts are securely connected.
- 02Attach the Wi-Fi antenna (female connector).
- 03Attach the 4G antenna to ANT1 (male connector).
- 04Attach the second 4G antenna to ANT2 (male connector).
- 05Connect the GPS antenna (optional).
- 06Connect the 12-36V DC power supply.
- 07Ensure the red PW LED is on and the green WK LED is blinking.
- 08Open a web browser and visit the setup page printed on the front label — it looks like jaspermate.link/STAR41.

Connect JasperMate to Wi-Fi

- 01Move JasperMate near your Wi-Fi, or turn on the Personal Hotspot on your phone.
- 02Follow the steps on the Mate's web page to connect JasperMate to your Wi-Fi.
- 03Wait until JasperMate is connected to the network: LED L1 goes off and LED L2 blinks.
- 04On your phone or a computer, open the setup link jaspermate.link/<jaspermate-id> again.
- 05Click "Connect Locally".

Log in and set up your project

- 01Log in with your JasperX account. You may need to create an account if you don't already have one.
- 02Give your JasperNode a name and description, then click Complete Setup.

Start with the AI chat window

- 01For the first run, set the agent to Auto-run mode.
- 02Start with a basic prompt: "Blink output 1 every second".
